This is an advanced level in the Musician series and plays at the level five (5) proficiency and must be able to perform on multiple parts within the selection including solo parts. • West Hawai'i Band: Works irregular hours: Must be able to work Tuesday evenings for rehearsals, weekends and holidays for performances; average of 9 hours per month. • Transports personal instrument(s) and equipment to and from rehearsals; cares for and maintains instrument(s) and equipment. Be certain to list all pertinent training and experience, as this may be important in determining your examination score. Knowledge of: the musical instrument(s) to which assigned, including literature, history, and performance techniques; the fundamentals of music and playing in a concert band/orchestra; musical compositions for the instrument(s) assigned.
