The Liturgical Musician is responsible for playing (organ and piano) and leading the assembly at weekend liturgies and other services (e.g., weddings, funerals). Requires basic musical ability and knowledge of Roman Catholic Liturgy. The liturgical musician collaborates with the Contemporary Music Ensemble and participates in the ensemble rehearsals on Thursday evenings at 7 pm and prior to the 5 pm liturgies on Saturdays. This is accomplished by selecting music, leading parishioners and choir members in music selections and by performing liturgical music. • Active member of a Roman Catholic parish faith community or must be willing to function in a manner consistent with the mission of the Catholic Church.
