DESCRIPTIONSeeking an exceptional Guitar 1 / Lead Guitarist for an upcoming professional production of ROCK OF AGES at Actors' Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre in Miami, Florida.

We are looking for a true rock lead guitarist with charisma to spare—someone who looks and feels completely at home onstage with a guitar in their hands. This player should be able to comfortably shred, with strong command of the vocabulary of ’80s arena rock and hair metal, including tapping, fast lead work, melodic solos, and the overall theatricality and swagger the style demands.

Strong rock-band experience, music-reading ability, a great ear, and experience working in musical theatre are all a plus.

DatesPerformances: March 18–April 11, 2027

Rehearsals: Early March 2027. The exact rehearsal start date is flexible and will be determined based on production needs and availability, but candidates should be prepared for the possibility of beginning as early as March 1.

Applicants should be available for the full performance period.
Housing and transportation will be provided.
Pay rate for shows to be discussed.
