We are seeking two individuals to complete the Drama Staff at Camps Baco & Che-Na-Wah in Upstate NY. The team is responsible for producing one book musical, one cabaret, and leading weekly educational periods.
Contract includes: $5000 (W-2), Room & Board included.
Dates: June 22nd, 2026 through August 3rd, 2026 (Dates subject to change by a day or so on either side).
Music Director The Music Director will be responsible for overseeing musical instruction, rehearsals, and performances.
Duties & Requirements Excellent sight-reading abilities Excellent transposition abilities Create and implement a musical program that is appropriate for the age and skill level of the students. Develop and lead rehearsals with students to ensure they are well-prepared for performances. Teach students the necessary technique and performance skills needed to succeed. Work with staff to create and develop weekly educational periods. Rehearse and lead a student band for performances. Extensive knowledge and experience in music theory and performance. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Able to work with students of all ages and skill levels. Proficient in the use of musical instruments (keyboard) and audio equipment.
