The Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Kissimmee, FL is currently seeking a Musician Performer ICE. - Proficient in playing a musical instrument - Confident performer who can engage and entertain audiences - Ability to perform music from memory or by following scores - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Attention to detail and professionalism - Provide musical entertainment for guests, possibly in character - Promote a fun and comfortable atmosphere - Practice and refine performances to maintain and improve skills - Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager - Follow company policies and procedures - Maintain a clean and professional appearance - Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality - Welcome and acknowledge guests with courtesy - Assist individuals with disabilities - Develop positive working relationships with team members - Support team goals and collaborate effectively - Comply with quality assurance standards - Walk for an extended period of time - Lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds - Perform other job duties as requested - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience as a musician preferred - Ability to play at least one musical instrument proficiently - Ability to perform in front of audiences and engage with guests - Knowledge of different music genres and styles - Familiarity with music theory and reading sheet music - Strong sense of rhythm and timing - Lounge Musician - Band Member - Street Performer - Cruise Ship Musician - Wedding Musician - Orchestra Member
