Piano Accompanist Role Description Under the direction of a supervisor, perform piano accompaniment duties for various programs and performances; assist in teaching vocal groups. • Provide accompaniment for vocal and instrumental groups and soloists during classes, rehearsals and performances; • Operate a vehicle to transport to off-campus performances and special events. • Provide accompaniment for choral groups and soloists at special events including concerts, festivals and recitals; • Collaborate with others to coordinate events as assigned. • Any combination equivalent to: Associate degree in music with a major in piano and two years of piano accompaniment experience.
