The production will be presented as part of a theatre festival at Paradise Factory (Lower Theatre), and explores the unraveling of a band’s relationships in real time through acoustic performance. This is not a tribute concert—it is a fully staged piece where music functions as dialogue, confrontation, and emotional release. RESPONSIBILITIESCreate and rehearse acoustic arrangements of songs from Rumours for piano and guitar (9 - 11 songs total)Collaborate with the director to ensure music supports dramatic intention and storytellingTeach and refine tight vocal harmonies for a 5-person ensembleRehearse actor-musicians (piano/guitar) within the staging of the pieceProvide light rehearsal accompaniment as neededSupport integration of music and staging during the rehearsal processAttend tech and performances as agreedIDEAL QUALIFICATIONSStrong experience as a Music Director for musical theatre or cabaretComfortable creating simple, effective acoustic arrangements (piano/guitar)Excellent ear for vocal harmony and blendExperience working with actor-musicians preferredInterest in intimate, story-driven performance over polished concert soundCollaborative, flexible, and responsive in a devised/rehearsal room environmentPROCESS & TIMELINERehearsals: preliminary meetings with the producer will begin virtually or in person with the producer soon upon hire.
