Role Description The Musicians role is a part-time, on-site position based in West Palm Beach, FL. Musicians will perform on LQI TV Livestream events, programs, and special initiatives, providing live music that enhances the atmosphere and supports the organization’s community-focused mission. Day-to-day responsibilities may include preparing and rehearsing musical pieces, collaborating with event organizers on performance schedules, and adapting sets to suit different audiences and themes. Musicians will help set up basic equipment, participate in sound checks, and maintain a professional stage presence. The role also involves interacting respectfully with attendees, staff, and volunteers to create a welcoming and engaging experience.

Qualifications

Demonstrated musical proficiency on one or more instruments or vocals, with the ability to perform confidently in live settings.Experience rehearsing and preparing repertoire for varied audiences, including community events, fundraisers, and special programs.Ability to work collaboratively with other performers, event staff, and volunteers, contributing to a positive and inclusive environment.Basic familiarity with performance logistics such as sound checks, equipment setup, and following event schedules.Strong reliability, punctuality, and professionalism, with a commitment to representing the foundation’s mission and values.Comfort engaging with diverse community members and maintaining respectful and courteous communication.Prior experience performing in community, non-profit, or educational settings is beneficial but not required.Flexible availability for part-time, on-site events, including evenings or weekends as needed.
