Position: Musicians Needed for Lessons Provide additional attention to assist Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest San Diego youth in learning their instruments and performing in bands. You'll get experience teaching and the pleasure of nurturing young musicians.Youth Arts Academy volunteers may help by substitute teaching for private instrumental/voice lessons, assisting Rock Band instructors (copying music, coaching musicians, setting up/tearing down, classroom management, performance and recital support), leading a workshop as a master musician/teaching artist, organizing/inventory of equipment, tuning, and repairing or maintaining music instruments and equipment. Spanish or Korean speaking.Physical Requirements: No specific physical abilities are required to participate in this volunteer opportunity.
