Our hospice is seeking talented musicians to volunteer and offer the gift of music to patients living with terminal illnesses. As a volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to create a flexible schedule that works for you. No medical background needed! How you can help: • Perform live music or play recorded music to soothe and uplift patients • Provide companionship through music, whether it’s a gentle guitar session, piano melodies, or singing • Offer a calming presence to patients, their caregivers, and families • Engage patients in music-related activities like singing along, reminiscing to familiar songs, or listening to calming tunes together • Support families and caregivers by offering a peaceful, therapeutic atmosphere through music Volunteers may also assist with light household duties such as watering plants, walking pets, or simply providing caregiver relief through their presence.
