Musicians On Call Street Team - Asheville and Knoxville (Part-Time)

**Applicants must be in Knoxville, TN or Asheville, NC** Musicians On Call (MOC) delivers live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare environments. Increase the base of active Volunteer Guides and Volunteer Musicians in Asheville or KnoxvilleResearch and identify new ideas and strategies for identifying and recruiting prospective volunteersWork with the Program Manager to build and sustain collaborative relationships with community-based organizations, residents, and community stakeholdersAssist with development of culturally appropriate outreach materials (flyers, newsletters, social media content)Proactively research and connect with local musicians and charitable individuals to expand MOC’s volunteer pipelineRepresent the organization at outreach events, recruitment fairs, festivals, and by engaging local businesses and other general community eventsAttend and provide in-person support of local MOC events, including recruitment, volunteer appreciation and fundraising eventsProvide in-person support of MOC Bedside shifts at hospital partners, including acting as a fill-in volunteer and/or onsite Certified Volunteer TrainerSupport storytelling efforts that highlight community impact and volunteer contributionsRequirements: Experienced marketing or community outreach professional, very personable, highly organizedPassionate about Musicians On Call’s mission and committed to promoting it within the communityModel Musicians On Call’s culture and values: community, excellence, compassion, innovation, and inclusivitySharp eye for detailed and clear communicationPossess great time management skillsSelf-motivated, organized, and able to work independentlyCreate and sustain warm, engaging, and community connectionsAbility to represent MOC professionally in publicDemonstrates strong creative and problem-solving skillsFlexibility during the day and evening to attend meetings and recruitment events or other assigned opportunitiesThe above job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and standards of the position.
