NYC Rock Band Seeking High-Level Drummer About the band: Formed in 2011, we have been playing shows regularly in the Northeast since 2012\. We have a bourgeoning fan-base in the Northeast that we have been growing for years and we tour regularly in most major cities from Boston to Washington, D.C. We have an extensive live history in NYC in particular, and have headlined venues such as Bowery Ballroom, (le) Poisson Rouge, and Mercury Lounge (which we have twice sold-out). About the position: Our regular drummer has stepped away since the pandemic began and we are seeking a replacement that can play at his high skill level. We are open to most styles of drumming backgrounds/tastes provided the noted expectation of virtuosity, and auditions will mostly focus on how well candidates’ overall artistic and personal vibe fits with the band. Also, YOU WILL NOT BE PAID FOR REHEARSALS, regular attendance at which is expected.
