Duties include all aspects of the band organization, auditions, programming, and rehearsal of all music for performances.Key Responsibilities Communicate with the student body and encourage participation in orchestra activities.Plan, rehearse, and direct musical experiences for the school, with scheduled performances per school year.Oversee scheduling and other arrangements for rehearsals and concerts.Order all supplies and materials necessary for band-related activities in accordance with established procedures and budget allocations.Key RequirementsBachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is required.One (1) year teaching experience preferred.Certification in Music (P-12) through the Georgia Professional Standards Commission is required.Salary: The salary schedules may be accessed via the following link: Teacher Salary ScalesJob Requirements Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
