Orchestra Librarian

Position Summary The Orchestra Librarian is responsible for the acquisition, preparation, distribution, maintenance, and archiving of all music materials required for rehearsals, performances, auditions, recordings, and educational activities. The position serves as the primary liaison between conductors, musicians, guest artists, publishers, and orchestra administration regarding performance materials. Library Management Maintain and catalog the orchestra’s music library. Copyright and Licensing Research copyright status of works. Coordinate with publishers regarding rentals and licensing requirements.
