The Orchestra Personnel Manager (OPM) acts as the cornerstone in the relationship between the Musicians and Administration. This position creates an environment for the musicians that is representative of Seattle Symphony Orchestra’s (SSO) values of excellence, innovation, curiosity, collaboration, inclusivity, respect, integrity, and service by acting as a counsel and a resource for SSO Musicians. This position and the Assistant Personnel Manager cover all services for both the SSO and the SO when the Orchestra is working during the 45-week season and 2-week summer opera. The OPM will work very closely with the Vice President and General Manager of the SSO and alongside the Operations, Artistic, and People & Culture departments of the SSO and SO.
