You’ll work in an in-store repair environment that values craftsmanship, consistency, and service, while contributing directly to the musical success of our community. Perform setup, maintenance, and repair work on orchestral string instrumentsDocument all work and customer contact using our softwareProvide accurate and timely repair estimates and appraisals to customersSupport ongoing partnerships with area schools and music directors, including occasional visits to the schoolsContinually learn and apply best practices for repair techniques and shop safetyReplenish repair parts and supplies as neededWork Environment: Store Luthiers work in a retail musical instrument store with a dynamic and customer-focused atmosphere. Schedule & Compensation Minimum of 2 years of orchestral string instrument repair and setup experienceCompletion of an accredited instrument repair program is preferred but not requiredStrong attention to detail, organization, and commitment to qualityWhy Heid Music?
