The Organist and Associate Minister of Worship at University Park UMC is a vital member of the worship and music ministry team, serving not only as a musician but as a minister through music. • Plan and rehearse music with Choral Scholars and soloists for the 8:45 AM worship service. Special Services (Weddings & Funerals) • Provide organ music for weddings, including consultation with couples and coordination with soloists or other musicians (separate fee applies). • Create and distribute worship scripts for pastors, lay liturgists, and other participants, serving as the primary contact to ensure responsibilities are clear and fulfilled. Instrument Care & Maintenance • Arrange and schedule regular tuning and maintenance of the Alfred Kern organ and all campus pianos.
