The Organist & Music Administrator provides essential artistic and administrative leadership in support of the Director of Music, ensuring the continued vibrancy of St. John’s music programs through thoughtful planning, spiritual depth, and operational excellence, while upholding the highest possible standards for music performance and education. This position also serves as the primary second chair to the Director of Music and will assume duties as needed by the Director. The Organist & Music Administrator may also coordinate and communicate with Ensembles in Residence and will serve as the coordinator for concerts and FSU recitals. The Organist and Music Administrator should be a skilled musician, a natural organizer and be able to maintain excellent collaborative working relationships with a wide array of personalities, including contractors, ministry volunteers, and staff.
