Job Title: Organist Services Location: Portsmouth, VA 23707... Duties: The Candidate will provide professional services in music ministry as the Accompanist/Keyboardist for Protestant worship and Roman Catholic mass conducted by the Pastoral Care Department, Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth, Virginia as requested/needed. Education/Certification: The Candidate shall be at least a High School graduate with a minimum of two (2) years of music education and/or experience. The Candidate shall hold knowledge of hymnal background, thorough technical preparation in organ playing to include a broad knowledge of the literature of the instrument, a comprehensive knowledge of the literature of church music.
