The Organist/Accompanist is a key musician within a highly collaborative worship ministry staff. The Organist/Accompanist is responsible for providing service music for the 8:50 and 10:50 a.m. Holy Eucharist services in coordination with the clergy and staff, and in doing so, he/she facilitates congregational singing through hymnody and the Eucharistic liturgy, accompanies the Adult Choir and possibly the adult contemporary ensemble on organ and piano as requested, provides instrumental music such as preludes and postludes, and provides for special musical events, seasonal liturgical worship services, and funerals or weddings as requested by clergy. Being a visible and ministerial presence among our staff and within our parish family, as well as experience with Anglican/Episcopal liturgy is very important to us. A brief description of the organ: R. A. Colby organ installation in 2014. 4 manuals.
