Position Summary Working closely with the Director of Music for Traditional Services and pastoral staff, the Organist contributes to the selection of service music and ensures musical continuity across rehearsals and worship. * Accompany the Chancel Choir at weekly evening rehearsals and at additional rehearsals for special presentations, as requested by the Director of Music with reasonable prior notice. * Participate in the selection of service music with the Director of Music and pastoral staff; hymns will be selected in consultation with the preaching pastor. * Meet regularly with the Director of Music to coordinate music for upcoming services and special events.
