Organist/Pianist

The TLC Organist/Pianist position is a salaried, part-time position that is responsible for providing organ and/or piano music for the traditional worship service. or B.S. Ability to play both traditional and contemporary worship music on the organ and/or piano.Provide all music for the traditional service (processional, post-sermon, and recessional hymns) and other supporting music as required.Proficient with sight-reading skills and ability to provide music accompaniment at Wednesday night adult choir rehearsals and worship service performances (September to May). Provide the music for special services, such as Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday and Christmas Eve, and for special events, as needed, such as the installation service for a pastor, etc. Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality and possess strong integrity.A team player with a creative spirit, a positive attitude, and a sense of humor who seeks to collaborate with others for the good of this faith community.Willingness to support and uphold the constitution and bylaws of the ELCA and Triumphant Lutheran Church
