Parish Musician - Keyboards

Job Description As a member of our team, you will be part of a vibrant and dynamic community that is passionate about making a difference in the world. - Lead the congregation in chant and song through the provision of beautiful and inspiring keyboard music - Work collaboratively with the Pastor and other musicians to plan and prepare music for liturgical celebrations - Maintain an environment of respect and solemnity at all rehearsals and liturgical celebrations - Communicate effectively with the Pastor and other musicians to ensure seamless execution of liturgical celebrations - Possess a working knowledge of, and a strong commitment to the mission of the Catholic Church - Must be a practicing Catholic in full communion with the Church - Employ flexibility and follow direction; be a team player and be self-motivated - Possess a high degree of musicianship and keyboard skills - Perform multiple tasks simultaneously and work with a sense of urgency - Exercise courtesy to fellow employees, parishioners, and the public - The opportunity to serve the Catholic community through music - A chance to grow professionally and personally as a liturgical musician - A dynamic and supportive team environment
