Young Musicians Unite (YMU) is on a mission to provide free, high-quality music education to every student in Miami-Dade, regardless of socio-economic background. • Evaluate student performance through rehearsals, demonstrations, and performances. Collaboration & Program Development • Work with school staff and YMU program leaders to support student engagement. Qualifications: • Experience leading drumline, marching band, or percussion ensembles • Strong skills in snare, tenor, bass drum, and auxiliary percussion • Ability to manage student groups with energy and discipline • Background working with middle and high school students • Commitment to using rhythm as a tool for personal growth and teamwork All instructors are required to participate in a two-week Mandatory Professional Development (PD) Program before the start of the school year.
