Part-Time Drum Musician Wanted

Music Teacher Position We are seeking a part-time Drum Teacher to provide music and performance lessons to students of all ages and abilities, emphasizing the importance of encouraging, fun, and focused lesson environments. Job Responsibilities: • Teach private and group lessons using an approved curriculum • Create engaging lesson plans with a focus on assessing student readiness for additional classes or instruments • Perform basic equipment repair as needed to ensure seamless lesson delivery Requirements: • Demonstrate a deep understanding of music concepts and effectively communicate them to students • Exhibit advanced knowledge of technique and music theory relevant to primary instrument • Employ effective time management skills to keep students on task during lessons • Cultivate a comfortable working environment with diverse personalities and age groups • Utilize experience as a performer to foster growth in students • Develop strong relationships with both children and adults through effective communication • Maintain a clean background check record The opportunity to work a flexible part-time schedule in a dynamic environment alongside other musicians presents itself at Northwest School of Music.
