This internship is for college credit. The company oversees a roster of top recording artists, actors, writers, directors, industry icons, brands, and high‑net‑worth family offices. Activist provides comprehensive management services for its clients, including music management, talent and brand management, and film and TV development and packaging. Along with actively measuring and reducing the firm’s own carbon footprint, Activist supports vetted and climate positive concert tours and projects to eliminate significantly more greenhouse gas pollution than we create.Internship DescriptionWe will provide opportunities for our interns to understand the tasks of a day‑to‑day manager, the role managers play among labels, agents, publishers, and others, the interaction between artists and their managers, including, but not limited to: releasing an album, making and conceiving of music videos, artist show coverage and why it’s important, how to connect artists with different charities and activists that align with their beliefs, fan engagement, the importance of artist/activist interaction, industry terminology, and more.Duties may include attending artist events such as shows or other associated events, organizing and brainstorming artist merchandise, sorting through artist social media accounts, monitoring artist mentions online, proofing press releases, liner notes, and newsletters, creating spreadsheets for both artists and Activist, researching new strategies for fan engagement, and more.
