Part-Time Music and Choir High School Teacher

The Music and Choir Teacher will be responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive music program that aligns with the school's curriculum and Massachusetts' Arts Framework. The teacher will engage high school students with interactive and interesting lessons that cover performance techniques, ensemble and vocal skills, music history, and music theory. The teacher will provide tailored guidance to students with varying musical aptitudes and inclinations, utilizing technology and multimedia tools to enhance music education and student learning. The teacher is expected to engage in professional development activities to stay current with effective teaching strategies in music education and to embody and communicate the philosophy, vision, and mission of Springfield Commonwealth Academy. , • The capacity to successfully use technology in program administration and music instruction.
