The Music Production Teaching Artist will lead hands-on, project-based music technology classes for middle and high school students in YMU partner schools. This is a classroom-based position with structured curriculum support and performance-based evaluation methods. Classroom Management & Student Engagement • Establish clear routines, behavior expectations, and classroom norms for students using electronic equipment. Collaboration & Program Development • Partner with in-school music teachers and site staff to ensure alignment with student needs and school culture. All instructors are required to participate in a two-week Mandatory Professional Development (PD) Program before the start of the school year.
