Part-time Musical Coach

As a Music Teacher at our institution, you will be responsible for developing curriculum, planning lessons, and leading instruction in music education. This part-time role involves working with students aged 5-10 in groups of 15-20, creating engaging musical experiences that cater to diverse needs and backgrounds. You will also be expected to accompany students on the guitar and/or piano and collaborate with colleagues to design meaningful learning experiences. Ideal candidates should have experience working with similar-age students, playing multiple instruments, and being familiar with various music types. Essential Qualifications: • Experience working with students in a similar age group • Strong knowledge of music theory and history • Ability to accompany students on the guitar and/or piano • Experience with the Orff Schulwerk approach to music education • Capacity to work with students from diverse backgrounds
