Part-Time Musician - NextGen

The Part-Time Musician - NextGen will support Hillside's mission by assisting the music team in creating authentic, impactful, and distraction-free worship experiences. • Build and lead the youth music team • Plan, arrange, and lead worship for NextGen gatherings and special events • Participate with the Weekend Music Team as scheduled • Collaborate with music team members during weekend services to help create a seamless gathering experience for the Hillside body • Assist in planning and leading worship at various special events (Hillside Kids events, Funerals, Annual Family Celebration, and You Are the Church) • Participate in regular meetings and additional training as required • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned • A minimum of three years of experience in serving on a music team is required. • A strong musical background is required, specifically in guitar and/or piano • Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. SCHEDULE: Sat-Weds, 10-25 hours per week
