Part Time violin instructor needed

South Pasadena Music School is expanding and looking for an Excellent University-Degreed Cello and /or Violin Instructor to join our existing staff and teach part-time regularly. We are in need of an instructor that can teach 1-2 days per week regularly on a consistent schedule. Requirements for all positions (we will not consider anyone who does not meet these requirements): -3+ years of experience teaching to a diverse student base with a focus on private one on one instruction -Instructor must have taught a minimum of 25 different students (adults and children) in the past 3-5 years -Extensive music education (BA or equivalent, Masters preferred) -Ability to teach children and adults from beginner to intermediate (advanced a +) -Ability to handle a weekly roster of 15+ students -Commit to teach current schedule for a minimum of one year -Open-minded, warm and patient -Reliable, flexible and responsible- Can make commitment to teaching regularly, with little or no need for a sub -Team Player, respectful of others -Great attitude and customer service oriented We are not looking for a "prima donna" instructor, applicants must be able and willing to teach all levels, from beginner to advanced and appreciate the effort and dedication required by each client to improve at any level.
