Part-Time Violin Instructor

About the Role

Headliner Music Academy is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Violin Instructor to join our team part-time. In this role, you will provide students of all ages with an inspiring and well-balanced music education, teaching theory and technique.

Our instructors develop well-rounded musicians who enjoy performing, recording in our studio, and composing original music. If you are a skilled violinist who loves to inspire others, we want to hear from you!

Position Responsibilities

Teach private and semi-private violin lessons to students of all ages and skill levelsCreate an encouraging, fun, and focused lesson atmosphere for each studentAssess a student's readiness to join an orchestra or ensembleAssist at school events, recitals, and performancesAssist with basic instrument care and maintenance as neededRequirements

Strong working knowledge of violin with a solid understanding of music theory and techniqueAbility to demonstrate and communicate music concepts effectively to students of all skill levelsAbility to manage time and keep students on task in a lesson settingComfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a variety of personalitiesExperience as a performer, whether solo, orchestral, or ensembleExperience working with youth and/or beginning musiciansAbility to interact effectively and warmly with both children and adultsMust be able to pass a background checkWorking knowledge of additional instruments is a plusWhy Headliner Music Academy?
