Part time Worship Leader

Worship Leader Celtic Cross Presbyterian Church - Citrus Heights, CA 95621 Celtic Cross Presbyterian Church is a congregation with a vision for growth in the Sacramento region, in the suburb of Citrus Heights. We are a multigenerational church that focuses on building strong, Christ-centered families and individuals. The worship leader serves under the direction of the Elders and works directly with the Senior Pastor. We utilize in-ear monitors, an Ableton click track, and a digital mixing console as part of our equipment. WHAT YOU'RE LIKE A dedicated disciple of Jesus Christ At least one year of experience leading or participating in a worship team A strong musician and vocalist, proficiency with guitar or piano A heart to lead people in worship, and not just lead a worship service Motivated with a strong dedication to quality in production A relational leader who is able to build Christian fellowship in the context of a worship team WHAT YOU'LL DO: Plan, organize, and lead the musical portions of the weekly 11am modern worship service Coordinate and lead worship team rehearsals Recruit, develop, and lead the worship team Prepare music for special holiday services and events THINGS WE WOULD LOVE, BUT AREN’T REQUIRED: Technical skills with audio/visual presentation systems Knowledgeable with Ableton, logic, or another system able to deliver a click track to in-ear monitors
