Patron Services Associate

USUO’s 87 full-time musicians and five opera Resident Artists perform for more than 450,000 residents in Utah and the Intermountain region each year, presenting statewide music education programs that reach students and adult learners of all ages; four full operas; and more than 175 symphonic and chamber music performances throughout Utah, including at the Deer Valley® Music Festival in Park City. Founded in 1940 and currently one of just 16 year-round orchestras in the U.S., the Utah Symphony performs under the artistic leadership of Music Director Thierry Fischer at its home venue in Salt Lake City, Maurice Abravanel Hall, and at venues throughout the state of Utah. The Patron Services Associate represents Utah Symphony | Utah Opera as the primary point of contact for our patrons’ needs; including single ticket sales and exchanges, season subscription renewals and acquisitions, in-person assistance during performances and events, and ongoing fundraising efforts. • Demonstrated excellence in customer service; 2+ years’ experience preferred • Previous experience with sales, preferably in a call center environment • Strong diplomacy, interpersonal and teamwork skills • Ability to clearly and efficiently communicate, both verbally and in written form • Energetic and positive personality; self-starter with high level of professionalism under pressure. • Outstanding problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including regular evening and weekend hours.
