The School of Dance awards the Bachelor of Fine Arts and the Undergraduate Arts Certificate with concentrations in Ballet or Contemporary Dance. Description of Responsibilities and Duties The primary purpose of this position is to provide live music for dance classes, both ballet and contemporary strongly preferred, for approximately 25 hours a week over the course of the school year. These include rehearsal, learning repertoire, playing for the NC Festival of Dance, research and special projects for the school of dance, composing or performing for SOD performances, or any other special projects for the school. Special Instructions to Applicants This is an Exempt Professional Staff (EPS) position.
