Job Description: The Archdiocese of San Antonio is seeking a talented musician to join our team as a part-time Cantor and Liturgist. This is an exciting opportunity to join our vibrant community and contribute your musical talents to our liturgical ministry. Key Responsibilities: • Provide musical accompaniment for prayerful services • Collaborate with the Pastor and Director of Music and Liturgy to secure instrumentalists as needed • Maintain professional and liturgical education through reading, workshops, and classes • Perform at special events, including weddings, funerals, and other occasions as required Requirements: • High School degree or equivalent • Ability to sing with accurate pitch and rhythm • Proficiency in playing piano or guitar, with a basic understanding of music theory • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with staff and management
