General Job Description & Duties: • Work directly under the Priest in Charge (PiC) as the primary parish Pianist/Accompanist. • Provide piano and/or organ accompaniment for additional Holidays not falling on a Sunday including, but not limited to; Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, and other services as required by the PiC. • Regularly meet with the PiC, in addition to various leaders from the parish. • Please note a clause for an adjustment in pay with the opportunity for youth & adult choirs forming. • The Church Pianist/Accompanist is encouraged to assist with the collection and verification of potential substitute musicians and their qualifications if and when the Accompanist may need to take planned leave or refuses a Wedding or Funeral service.
