Pianist/music director

Responsibilities:
- Provide piano accompaniment for church services, including rehearsals and performances
- Collaborate with directors, choreographers, and other musicians to ensure a cohesive and polished performance
- Attend production meetings and rehearsals to familiarize yourself with the music and cues
- Adapt to changes in tempo, dynamics, and timing during live performances
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude while working with cast members and production staff
- Assist in selecting and arranging music for the production

Skills:
- Proficient in playing the piano with a strong understanding of music theory
- Ability to sight-read sheet music and learn new pieces quickly
- Experience in accompanying church productions, including musicals and plays
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with directors, choreographers, and other musicians
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate timing and cues during performances
- Ability to adapt to changes in tempo, dynamics, and timing during live worships
- Knowledge of different musical styles, especially some afro music and high praise.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $800.00 - $1,200.00 per month
