Piano Instructor

If you’re looking to teach without the burden of running your own business—or you’re tired of unpaid travel time, zig-zagging across town, or working with students who don’t really want to be there—this might be the perfect place for you. Working just 25 hours/week can earn you the equivalent of a full-time salary—$3,500/month or more—with plenty of time left to gig, create, or simply recharge. You’ll also help convert new students (we’ll train you), so you're empowered to grow your own success. Our ideal candidate: • Has a degree in music (or will graduate within 6 months) • Plays classical piano at a late-intermediate to advanced level and can also teach a variety of contemporary genres • Has 2+ years of teaching experience (group & private) • Loves working with adult hobbyists (and comfortable teaching kids when needed) • Brings a warm, engaging, collaborative energy to lessons • Views music as a tool for fun, connection, and personal growth • Wants to be part of a highly professional and inspiring team Please email [email protected] with: • Your resume • A short video (5 minutes or less) telling us who you are, why you want to teach at MP, and what makes you a great fit • Two recent performance videos (within the last 3 years) that show your piano skills
