Musicians Playground Boston, Massachusetts

Piano Instructor
Now Hiring: Piano Instructor for Adult Hobbyists at Musicians Playground (Boston, MA)
Who We Are
Musicians Playground is not your typical music school. Located in the heart of Downtown Crossing, we’re a vibrant and welcoming music community built specifically for adults looking to have more fun, meet new people, and reconnect with their creativity through music. Like a gym but for musicians—we offer private lessons, group classes, music-based team-building events, and more—all within a beautifully designed 3,000 sq ft studio filled with top-tier instruments, amenities, and creative energy.
We’re looking for experienced, passionate piano teachers who love what they do and value music as a form of fun, connection, and personal wellness. If you’re looking to teach without the burden of running your own business—or you’re tired of unpaid travel time, zig-zagging across town, or working with students who don’t really want to be there—this might be the perfect place for you.

Why Teach at MP?

Earn More in Less Time

Our teaching roles are built for both flexibility and stability. Working just 25 hours/week can earn you the equivalent of a full-time salary—$3,200/month or more—with plenty of time left to gig, create, or simply recharge. Prefer a lighter schedule? Even at 12 hours/week, our teachers earn consistent income doing work that’s creative, meaningful, and far more fulfilling than the average service job.

One Beautiful Location
Say goodbye to unpaid travel time. Teach in one inspiring, central studio equipped with top-tier instruments, tech, and a fully stocked kitchen (yes—espresso, snacks, and a great vibe included).
Consistent Students, Strong Systems

No more wondering where your next student is coming from. With proven marketing and streamlined operations, high-performing teachers can build a full schedule quickly—any time of year. You’ll also help convert new students (we’ll train you), so you're empowered to grow your own success.

Work That Feels Aligned
You’ll work with kind, motivated adult learners who actually want to be there. Our members are curious, open-minded, and making music to enrich their lives—not because someone forced them to take lessons.
Ongoing Training & Growth

We invest in you. From day one, you’ll receive paid training and development to help you become a more confident, easeful, and inspiring teacher. And that support doesn’t stop—we’re here to help you keep growing, both personally and professionally.

Extra Perks

Free studio use (personal or professional)
Free use of all teaching resources & sheet music
Supportive team & community
Room to grow into leadership or other roles over time
