We strive to make music lessons as accessible and affordable to as many people as possible because we believe the importance of music education is essential to making the world a better, happier place!

Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Piano. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the Reading, PA area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP!

Lessons can occur in the students’ homes; in your own home or studio; or via webcam. Most students prefer in-person lessons, so we need local instructors who can host students or travel to students in Reading, PA.

Responsibilities

Teach private piano lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels.
Plan and deliver curriculum tailored to individual student needs.
Arrange lesson locations, including students’ homes, own studio, or via webcam.
Communicate regularly with staff office and student families.
Maintain lesson attendance and student retention metrics.
Observe COVID‑19 precautions: wear a mask, sanitize hands, and practice social distancing when applicable.

Qualifications

Degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience (preferred).
Strong teaching skills and organization.
Good communication with staff and clients.
Ability to set your own schedule and curriculum.

Compensation & Benefits

Independent contractor basis between $20–$30 per hour based on experience, travel, and retention.

Marketing, advertising, SEO, and billing handled by the company.
