We are searching for a Part-Time Piano Instructor! If you: -Enjoy working with children ages 6-18 in a fast-paced, exciting environment -Are patient, kind, and supportive -Have excellent communication and time management skills -Continually seek to improve as a human and musician -Play the piano -Have some afternoon/evening/weekend availability We would love to meet you! This position will start at 3-10 hours/week with room to grow Pay is $30-40/hour (based on experience) with paid training and bonus opportunities Responsibilities include: -Teaching piano technique, music literacy, theory, and learning strategies to beginning piano students ages 6-18 in-person and online -Giving guidance and support to keep students motivated and on task through their piano journey -Maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment where students can concentrate and do their best -Connecting students with (studio-provided) resources such as tablet games, backing tracks, and music books -Communicating progress with parents face-to-face and via lesson notes Job Type: Part-time (3-10 hours/week) 1099 Contractor Additional Notes: Owner is an experienced piano teacher and musician of 15+ years.
