Musicians Workshop is seeking an experienced, engaging Piano Instructor to join our team of professional music educators.

This is an immediate opening with more than a dozen established piano students ready to transition to their new instructor. You will not be starting from scratch or waiting months to build a teaching schedule.

We are looking for someone who loves teaching, connects well with students, and wants to become a long-term part of a growing music school.

Who We're Looking For

Our ideal instructor:

Has 3+ years of teaching experience
Is fun, personable, encouraging, and engaging
Can work effectively with students of different ages and ability levels
Creates lessons that are both productive and enjoyable
Adapts instruction to each student's goals and musical interests
Is dependable, professional, and communicates well
Is interested in developing long-term relationships with students

A music degree and professional performance experience are highly valued.

About Musicians Workshop

Musicians Workshop is a music learning center and retail store serving Chicago's western suburbs since 2011.

We provide private music lessons, group ensemble instruction, student performance opportunities, and a professional environment where students can develop as musicians while genuinely enjoying the learning process.

Our instructors are an important part of our community, and we want them focused on what they do best — teaching music. We handle scheduling, billing, marketing, student communication, and administrative support.

A Brand-New Facility Coming Fall 2026

Musicians Workshop is currently building a brand-new facility in downtown Westmont, scheduled to open at the end of October.

The new location is being designed specifically around music education and will include dedicated private teaching studios, ensemble space, a music retail area, and comfortable common spaces for students, families, and instructors.

This is an exciting time to join Musicians Workshop as we enter the next chapter of our growth.

Our new location is conveniently located directly across from the BNSF Westmont Metra Station, with ample parking available for instructors who drive.
