Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Piano Teacher to inspire students of all ages in the beautiful art of piano playing. Responsibilities

Design and implement customized piano lesson plans tailored to each student’s skill level, interests, and learning styleTeach fundamental piano techniques, including sight-reading, finger positioning, rhythm, and musical interpretationIncorporate curriculum development strategies to ensure progressive skill advancement and artistic growthGuide students through performance preparation, including recital participation and audition readinessRequirements

Experience: 3–5+ years of experience teaching piano, particularly intermediate-to-advanced students.Advanced Piano Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in classical repertoire, music theory, sight-reading, ear training, technique, and performance preparation.Teaching Expertise: Ability to teach advanced repertoire from composers such as Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Debussy, Rachmaninoff, and other major composers.Individualized Instruction: Ability to assess each student’s skill level and create personalized lesson plans and practice strategies.Performance Preparation: Experience preparing students for recitals, competitions, auditions, examinations, or college music programs.Music Theory: Strong knowledge of harmony, analysis, chord progressions, composition, and advanced music theory.Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students and parents.Patience & Mentorship: Ability to motivate advanced students, provide constructive feedback, and foster long-term musical growth.Professionalism: Reliable, organized, punctual, and committed to maintaining a positive learning environment.Background Check: Willingness to complete a background check if working with minors.Join us if you’re eager to share your passion for music while nurturing the next generation of talented artists!
