About the PositionEnsemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional piano instructor to teach part‑time in Louisville, KY. We are looking for teachers who will instruct in person. Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed, but both students and school staff appreciate consistency and preference will be given to candidates with availability on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
ResponsibilitiesTeach piano lessons to students of various skill levels and ages, focusing on both technique and musical enjoyment.
QualificationsStrong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance, music education, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience.Demonstrated love of teaching and experience working with young musicians.Robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.Compensation & BenefitsPay range: $22‑28 per hour, commensurate with experience.401(K) program with employer matching available to all employees after 30 days on the job.Health benefit packages available for all part‑ and full‑time employees.About Ensemble SchoolsEnsemble Schools is a partnership of community‑driven music and dance schools that maintain individual identities but share resources to ensure mutual success. AcademyThis posting is for the Kentucky Arts Academy, where we offer piano, guitar, voice, drums, and other instrument lessons to children ages six and up across beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. Adults are also welcome.
