Are you a passionate piano teacher who loves working with children and wants to be part of building something meaningful from the ground up?

Maestro Musicians Academy is expanding into the Prosper, TX area and is seeking a piano instructor to join our founding teaching team.

Maestro Musicians Academy is a community-based music school serving families since 2014, with locations in Massachusetts and Ohio. We specialize in working with children (ages 5–18), helping them develop confidence, discipline, and a lifelong connection to music.

Our mission is to give students the tools to express themselves through music while building meaningful, long-term relationships with families.

About This Opportunity

This is a founding-level role in a new market.

We are currently building interest with local families and expect to begin lessons once a teacher and initial schedule are established.

This means:

You will start with a small number of studentsWe will actively build your schedule over timeYou will have the opportunity to help shape the program as it growsThis is ideal for a teacher who:

Teaching Schedule

Typical lesson hours:

Weekdays: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PMSaturdays: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PMYou must be available for at least:
4+ hours on one consistent day per week

Responsibilities

Teach weekly private piano lessons to beginner students (primarily ages 5–12)Maintain a consistent weekly teaching scheduleCommunicate regularly with parents regarding student progressProvide brief lesson notes and updatesPrepare students for optional recitals (as the program develops)Track teaching activity using our scheduling systemRequirements

Experience teaching piano to children (beginner level required)Bachelor’s degree in music (preferred, not required)Strong communication skillsReliability and punctualityAbility to commit to a consistent weekly scheduleCompensation

$33–$40/hour (W2) based on experiencePayroll taxes covered by employerEarned sick time (as applicable)Location

Prosper, TX
(Final teaching location TBD – we are currently securing space based on enrollment)
