What started with one teacher and one studio has grown into a tight-knit community of students, educators, and music lovers rooted in the Mission District. At MMS, our mission is simple: Play The Music You Love. Our students range from kids picking up their first instrument and adult beginners finally making time for music, to singer-songwriters, jazz musicians, classical players, producers, improvisers, and artists of every style — and what connects them all is a genuine love of music and teachers who meet them exactly where they are.
