School Hours: Our schools typically operate weekdays from 2:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We’ll work with your schedule to find the best consistent fit. Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized lesson plans tailored to each student’s skill level and learning style.Teach instrumental and/or vocal techniques, music theory, and performance skills to students of varying ages, including children and adults.Create a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student engagement and enthusiasm for learning.Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.Prepare students for recitals to showcase their progress and encourage their confidence in performing.Collaborate with parents or guardians to discuss student development and address any concerns or questions.Stay updated on new teaching methods, curriculum development, and music education trends.Provide and maintain a consistent weekly schedule availability that will not be affected by other obligations (gigs, doctor’s appointments, frequent trips, etc. Experience working with children, teens, and adults in one-on-one and/or group class settings.Knowledge of music theory, technique, performance practices, ensemble performance, composition and/or songwriting.A creative, patient, and energetic approach to teaching.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of childhood development principles to effectively engage young learners.A passion for music education and the ability to inspire students through innovative teaching methods.Background in early childhood education or special education is a plus.Experience teaching multiple instruments is a plus.Being bilingual in Spanish is a plus.Join us in nurturing the next generation of musicians while sharing your love for music!
