The School of Rock part-time Instructor teaches students from AC/DC to Zappa, Led Zeppelin to 50's Jukebox, and everything in between. The part time instructor creates a dynamic lesson experience to ensure their students are challenged and inspired. The part time Instructor embodies rock and roll in a positive way and is responsible for creating a valuable student lesson experience. • We are looking for a part time instructor that can teach weekday afternoons/evenings and potentially weekends. Skills/Requirements • Experience teaching music to students of various ages and skill levels (beginners to advanced students) • Strong knowledge of music theory and performance techniques • Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans in tandem with our SOR core curriculum • Excellent lesson and time management skills • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to collaborate with other instructors and music directors • Ability/willingness to substitute teach on occasion
