Minds On Music is a vibrant, family-oriented music school in Gulf Breeze with 12 teaching studios, a professional recording studio, and a 75-seat performance hall. We are Florida’s first Steinway Select Studio and have built a reputation for exceptional teaching and a warm, encouraging environment. Our students range from 6 months old through advanced levels, and we emphasize both musical excellence and the joy of learning.

Position Overview

We are looking for a kind, enthusiastic, and degreed Piano Teacher to join our team. Piano is the primary focus, but candidates who can also teach voice will be given strong preference. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who is passionate about teaching children and beginners, while also working with intermediate and advanced students.

We want someone who connects well with kids, creates a positive lesson experience, and helps students fall in love with music.

Key Responsibilities

Teach private and semi-private piano lessons (30 and 60-minute lessons)Teach voice lessons (if qualified)Prepare students for recitals, competitions, and our MusIQ® curriculum assessmentsParticipate in studio recitals, band showcases, and occasional evening eventsProvide encouraging, positive, and effective instruction that builds student confidenceQualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Music (Piano Performance, Music Education, or related field required)Strong piano skills and solid music theory knowledgeExperience teaching children preferred (student teaching or recent graduate teaching assistant experience is acceptable)Warm, patient, and encouraging personality — genuinely good with kidsReliable, professional, and committed to student progressVoice teaching experience or strong vocal skills is a big plusRecent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
